Ya man...
Well…I was “sexually harassed” today at work by a Jamaican janitor named Levi.
Levi is an older gentleman, who is working as a temp at the museum. He works hard. I have had to work with him on some projects and got friendly with him, friendly enough to say hi. I guess that was a mistake.
Today after getting my trash he asked me if I was married. Caught off guard I replied “No.”
He then said “We should get together man.”
Thinking “OH SHIT!” I said “I don’t date people I work with.”
He then replied “I will not be working here much longer man.”
I insisted I don’t date people I currently or have worked with in the past. He stood there staring at me waiting for me to change my mind!
He then declared “You are missing out man.” and walked away.
I then informed my co-worker of this and she said “Yeah he asked for my number and I created a fake boyfriend and then he asked where you were…smooth!”
Some warning would have been nice!
Why do men of African extraction want to date me?
Is it because I am a NH2…man?
