I'm going to need a backpack... with wheels.
Every year, atleast fourteen times, I consider going back to school. Law School, MBA, Music (ha!, not really), etc.
I would love to go to law school, but honestly, I’m really not good at school. I’m good at learning things, but not good at studying for things. That option is out for now.
The next best thing I’ve found is Continuing Education classes. NYU offers a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law that I’ve been eyeballing for the last two years and I think this Fall I might actually take that small step forward.
It’s expensive, but I don’t have to commit to anything. I can take one class at a time if I feel like it. Surely I can balance a more than full time job and a 2 hour a week class. Right?
If anyone has any opinions or $625 I can borrow, please let me know.
Ask your employer to fund it. I get $1000 for professional development each year…if you can relate the class back to your job you are golden.
